Virtual Pakistan International Airlines is Pakistan's first regular virtual airline. We simulate Pakistan International Airlines, the flag carrier of Pakistan. People from all over the world join us as virtual pilots - and they only need Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, 2004 or the latest version FSX. Our basic point is to create a replica of Pakistan International Airlines for recreation purposes only, and joining members or 'virtual pilots' are required to have a Microsoft Flight Simulator with them. Virtual PIA is run by Pakistani aviation enthusiasts and virtual pilots - all very experienced in their fields. Virtual PIA was founded in May 2005. In July of the same year, operations were temporarily halted for a website overhaul, and in August 2005, we emerged as Virtual Pakistan International Airlines. Virtual Pakistan International Airlines has come a long way, but not without the help of fellow aviation enthusiasts and virtual pilots. Mr. van Ruler and Mr.Wiegers of the dutch KLM VA helped us in the re-launch of this site.
