virtual Department of War

The Virtual Department of War (vDoW) is a dynamic online organization uniting a diverse range of simulators and games to create a fully immersive virtual military world. Our mission is to provide a platform where aviation enthusiasts, military strategists, and gaming communities can collaborate, train, and experience the complexities of military operations in a virtual environment. At vDoW, aviation takes center stage. We harness the power of cutting-edge simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane 12, and Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) to offer unparalleled realism for pilots of all skill levels. But our vision extends far beyond the skies we aim to bring life to every aspect of military operations. Airfield and Airspace Management: With our VATSIM-certified controllers, vDoW is developing an ecosystem to train and staff military base airfields and RAPCONs, ensuring realistic air traffic management. Logistics and Ground Operations: Leveraging simulators like American Truck Simulator and potentially Trainz, we are exploring innovative ways to simulate military logistics, supply chains, and convoy missions. Naval Operations: As new naval simulation platforms emerge, vDoW is excited to incorporate maritime strategy and operations into our offerings. Infantry and Tactical Ground Combat: Through first-person shooters, we aim to recruit and organize infantry units for coordinated online missions, fostering teamwork and tactical precision. At vDoW, recruits can choose from a wide range of roles and opportunities, each designed to replicate real-world military operations with authenticity and teamwork at the core. Whether you're piloting a fighter jet, controlling airspace, driving vital supplies, or leading a ground assault, there's a place for you in our virtual military world. Join us and become part of a revolutionary community where simulation meets strategy. Together, we are redefining what it means to serve in the virtual defense of the digital age.
