MIAMI, April 28th, 2011 /Virtual Wire/ -- Slipstream Airways (NYSE: SSV) today announced a major network reorganization for subsidiary Slipstream Global Logistics that will launch in May. With new international and domestic service as well as some increased flights in existing markets; the cargo division seeks to build and balance its network.
The reoganization includes consolidating all flight and logistics operations to Miami International Airport and the utilization of Anchorage as a focus city and traffic hub for its Asia-Pacific service.
"This exciting new service will serve to further strengthen our global network as well as re-affirming our commitment with connecting Central and South America with the rest of the world, and opening new opportunities for these customers," said Bobby Allison, Chief Executive of Slipstream.
"In addition, we have created network alliances in each of our regions [North America, Asia and Europe] that will open a vast new array of destinations for our customers, that will allow them to spread the products and their culture."
