fly Ocean revises expansion concept

fly Ocean will postpone the planned use of cargo aircraft within the viento group for an indefinite period. "Right now it is for us not a priority to establish our own cargo-only service. The main catchment area for us will be in future the South and Central America passenger-market.
For this reason, the management discusses for the time being about potential expansion opportunities in this region.", said an airline official today.
"As soon as we are satisfied with our offers to and in South and Central America, fly Ocean will establish a own cargo-only service. But currently, we are not able to give any specific information about the time, when we will launch it.", he added.
Furthermore, the airline had recently announced that fly Ocean will extend the codeshare-agreement with its GlobalOne Alliance partner Eurobelgian Airlines. They also expressed positive views about the success of the recently launched product "CityConnex" which offers a shuttle service from Spain to London City Airport, using Fokker 70 aircraft.
