Citybird Va changing operations

Brussels, May 15 2011- Today the Citybird VA Board announced its closure off the KJFK hub after receiving the quarterly figures.CEO joeri luckermans took the decision to close all US operations due to the high operation costs. Flights from Europe to the US will still be operational.

All operational frames will be transferred to our hub at Brussels airport.

On the same meeting the Citybird VA board announces its beginning off its Africa connection.

With daily flights to Africa connected via Cairo int Airport with currently negotiation going on with the airport authorities to open a hub there.
