Air Fresno realigns regional service.

Just in time for it's 13th Anniversary Air Fresno is making changes to it's fleet and schedule. With the expiration of the lease agreement for it's four CRJ-700's the airline has decided not to renew the service contract and instead purchase three Beech 1900C1 airliners.
These airliners will replace the CRJ's effective March 12th, and the entire schedule will be revamped. Loss of passenger traffic with the current economy is cited as the main cause for these changes, however escalating fuel and insurance costs are also a factor.
Much of the new schedule will be excursion based and the high demand routes will be retained with new departure and arrival times. Air Fresno will also subsudise it's passenger service with an overnight cargo service in conjunction with DHL, FEDEX and UPS beginning this summer with at least one and possible two Beech 1900C Freighters.
