Answers are published as the CEO wrote them, spelling included.

  1. About the CEO

Can you tell us a bit about yourself? For example; how old you are, what your background with flying in general is and what brought you to creating your own Virtual Airline.

I am 36 years old and I am a very enthusiastic person about aviation and airplanes since a long time, since my childhood I dreamed to have a chance in my life once to have an experience in a flight and the dream became a reality when I took an airplane for the first time to go to Switzerland since that day I realized that it is not only a means of transportation but it is a very fascinating world to fly.

  2. How it started

When did you start your Virtual Airline?

I started the creation of our company vRAM in 2015 after joining the IVAO network

  3. Success

Do you consider your Virtual Airline successful?

Yes, of course, I am very satisfied with the way we work and the offer we provide to simulation lovers.

  4. Best moment

What is your most interesting experience with your Virtual Airline, what has happened that makes you think so?

I can only be proud of our airline vRAM by summarizing our history from the beginning to today, we went from a basic VAM system to our own algorithm developed by Rayane Zekik and then he managed to provide us with our unique vRAM Tracker that perfectly fits the needs of the simulation with very modern and smooth user interfaces, Our scripts are very powerful and realistic in the sense that the pilots have so much detail on all the operations on the platform, we have created an internal bank in our database that touches the portfolios of each member according to their actions on the system.

So I'm very happy to have been a part of this project and I'm very satisfied with it.

  5. Hard times

Did you have any bad experiences with your Virtual Airline?

In every project there are ups and downs, however some times we almost gave up for financial or implementation reasons but in the end our love for aviation gave us the strength to continue.

  6. Pilots coming and going

What do you think of your Virtual Airline’s flow of new and leaving VA pilots? Is there something you do to attract more pilots? And why do you think some pilots leave your Virtual Airline?

I think that our company offers a lot of positive and very attractive things to the pilots in the sense that we have a very modern platform in continuous improvement and in search of any new technology in order to give full satisfaction to our members and especially to provide them with a very realistic and unique experience with the system that we put at their disposal. And above all we do not force anyone to fly daily because it is still virtual and we respect everyone's time.

But as with any virtual company, sometimes pilots leave to test other systems to push the realism to the max, but in the end they all come back to us because we have something extra. Overall, we have rarely seen pilots leave because we do everything to keep them here, including the atmosphere and support.

  7. Fleet and liveries

What types of planes does your Virtual Airline use and do you have all the custom liveries available for your VA?

Our fleet is drawn from the current Royal Air Maroc, mostly oriented for long and medium haul. But we have kept their old "Vintage" fleet and added regional and governmental ones.

Our airline is based on the real national airline of the Kingdom of Morocco so we provide real liveries, made available on our download center.

  8. Online networks

Does your VA fly on a network? If so, what do you think about it? Do you feel it supplements the general flying experience, what do you think of the network in general and is it required for your pilots to fly on this network?

Yes, my airline is certified on the IVAO network. There is a real interest in this because in addition to the voices in the cabin, you have an amplified immersion by the ATC radio communication (in Morocco for example) and more events are possible in coordination with the IVAO Morocco division. We do not force pilots to fly on a particular network.

  9. Flight tracking

Do you use any flight tracking software? If so, which one, and are you happy about the service it provides? Would you like to improve it for example?

Our developer ZEKIK Rayane has created a custom flight tracker in addition to simacars. We are very satisfied with the service he offers, by its easy to use interface and its easy connection. We work very regularly on our tracker, in order to optimize it and to add new features that our drivers propose.

  10. Developer offers

Do you make use of the offers some developers / distributors have for Virtual Airlines? Do you think these developers / distributors have good offers? And does it fit your Virtual Airline policy?

I am not interested in the offers of developers and all paid services on this subject because we have our own volunteer developer as a virtual airline. We think that these offers are good for airlines with little or no technical means but we can't judge their quality because we have never dealt with them.

  11. Website

Does your Virtual Airline have a custom made internet web page or do you use, for example, PHPVMS and equivalents? Are you happy about your VA’s web page?

At the beginning we based ourselves on the virtual system airline manager that we totally modified and secured because there were big flaws on it and to allow us to implement modules at the request of the community and to assert more our technologies and our identity. We are very happy with the site and admire the work of the WebMaster.

  12. The year ahead

And lastly, what are your expectations for your Virtual Airline in the coming twelve months?

Our expectations for the next twelve months are mainly to have new members, with whom we will share our knowledge, resources, in the field that unites us all, aviation.
